Got an hour?

Oh my. You would think as I get older that my focus would sharpen and the things that interest me would narrow. At least, that's what I thought. Happily, maddeningly I'm finding the opposite to be true. The longer I spend in this body the more I seem to want to fill it with ideas, information, language, concepts and stories. I guess I'll use this page to list my current obvious obsessions and maybe the minor background obsessions too.

ANGEL- The cleanest vamp on TV. He showers a lot (not a complaint) . A great storyline as well

BUFFY- Girl power rules! You know I love the Wiccan jazz covered with a lesbian topping. You know what I totally love though? Joss Whedon will go back 4 years for a loose plot thread and clear it up or add something to it. I squeal like a little girly man when he does that!

SCREEN SAVERS (Tech TV)- An obscure choice but I love the show and I've learned a lot

CALL FOR HELP (Tech TV)- See above

CHANGING ROOMS (BBCAmerica)- Spawned TRADING SPACES and in 1/2 hour bites . They don't show the nuts and bolts of the process though.

TRADING SPACES- If you tune in at 47 minutes into the show you get to see the before and after shots of the rooms and only spend about 13 minutes watching instead of the whole hour.

Photoshop 7- I've learned enough to edit/play with photos but I want to finish the tutorials so I can really get into this photography project bubbling in my head (more on that later)

Digital Photography/Art- I really love the instant gratification you get from digital photography. The whole idea of being able to point/shoot and keep/discard photos or pieces of photos to layer them together or change their meaning is a lot of fun. Is it art?  Check the self portrait above and you decide. I'm also fascinated be amature porn and would be more than happy to explore this with the right guy(s). bulletFinancial-I got into investing and the stock market during the last boom years. I shared in the horrible bath everyone took the when the wheels fell off the wagon last year but it has not deterred me.  My 401k got destroyed but my (tiny) brokerage account is doin OK.

If There's Time (but there's not)- I would like to re-learn French (I used to be very good at it) and I've always wanted to study Martial Arts
